The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) 2024-2025 class of scholars and CEE faculty and staff.
The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) welcomed the 2024-2025 class of CEE Scholars on Tuesday, September 10 with a program kickoff at Morven Farm. In their first session, the scholars engaged in discussion around principles of education scholarship and began exploring their education research interests in collaboration with their CEE faculty mentor. The scholars were then joined by the inaugural 2023-2024 class, content mentors, and CEE faculty to celebrate at a welcome reception celebration at the conclusion of the day’s program.
Over the next 18 months, the scholars will develop expertise in educational scholarship and work with mentors to produce an educational project ready for dissemination. The scholars were very eager to begin their work and develop a learning community.
The purpose of the CEE Scholars Program is to advance excellence in education through development of faculty expertise in educational scholarship. This program is possible through gracious support from Meg Keeley, MD, the senior associate dean for education and is led by the CEE Director Michael S. Ryan, MD, MEHP, and faculty within the CEE including: Elizabeth Bradley, PhD, Jim Martindale, PhD, Andrew Parsons, MD, MPH, and Program Administrator, Jessica Greenfield, PhD.
