Program Goals:
- Leadership Development: Build leadership competencies tailored to research, clinical, and educational environments.
- Research Innovation: Enhance participants’ ability to design, manage, and sustain high-impact research projects.
- Mentorship Capacity: Equip participants with tools and techniques to mentor effectively across career stages, fostering inclusive growth and development
- Network Expansion: Create interdisciplinary connections to support career advancement and collaborative opportunities.
- Diversity and Equity Advancement: Promote equity-focused practices in leadership and research, ensuring broader representation and inclusion within UVA’s academic and clinical spaces
Program Details:
- Duration: 6 months
- Schedule: Tuesdays, 12-2 p.m.
- Kick-Off Lunch: April 22, 12-1 p.m.
- Session Dates: April 29, May 27, June 24, July 22, August 19, and September 16, 2025
Target Audience:
- Faculty: Assistant Professors and early Associate Professors (≤5 years).
- Trainees: Fellows, Clinical Instructors, and Post-Doctoral Fellows.
- Clinical Research Professionals: University Staff actively involved in supporting clinical and translational research
This program is specifically tailored to equip participants with the skills and networks to thrive in leadership roles, while driving impactful research.
