The UVA Summer Medical Leadership Program Class of 2024
The UVA Summer Medical Leadership Program (SMLP) welcomed the 2024 class on June 3 and seeks faculty to provide clinical shadowing opportunities for our students. SMLP is a medical enrichment program for pre-med students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds. The students gain a lot from shadowing UVA Physicians, which is consistently one of the program’s highlights.
Several of the scholars are interested in shadowing opportunities. If you can host SMLP scholars for shadowing between now and July 11th, please register.
