The UVA Medical Alumni Association hosted a networking reception for Black students, faculty, and housestaff on Monday, October 17, 2022. Over 30 people attended the event, including Tracy Downs, MD, Senior Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the School of Medicine and Chief Diversity & Community Engagement Officer for UVA Health, and Aisha DeBerry, Executive Director of Provider Recruitment. This networking reception is held in the fall each year.
