Scott Heysell, MD

Scott Heysell, MD, an infectious disease specialist in the Department of Medicine, has been named director of the Center for Global Health Equity effective July 1, 2023. Dr. Hysell, the Thomas H. Hunter Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, primarily cares for patients with the human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV, and tuberculosis and also researches infectious diseases’ impact on international health.
