In recognition of National Doctors’ Day 2023, the School of Medicine would like to thank all our physicians who care for our patients with compassion and a commitment to excellence every day. Our incredible physicians always put patients first and seek to provide an exceptional care experience, which inspires hope in them and for all Virginians and beyond.
The number of stories we could share about our doctors’ work in clinical care, education of our students and trainees, research endeavors, and community engagement is limitless. But we were able to sit down with two of them in the videos below to capture why they became doctors, what they find most rewarding about their work, and much more.
