The selfless dedication and tireless efforts of our physicians improve and save lives, and truly make a world of difference. This one day of the year serves as a reminder of the profound impact they have on our patients, their families, and the communities we serve.
In celebration of National Doctors’ Day, we encourage team members to take a moment to express your gratitude to those physicians you work with every day. A simple thank you can make all the difference, acknowledging the dedication and compassion our doctors bring to their work. We also invite you to watch a heartwarming video in which our doctors read patient appreciation comments, reflecting on the tremendous impact they have on those under their care.
We are grateful to have such an incredible group of doctors at UVA Health, representing the best of the field of medicine. Their enduring commitment inspires us all, and we are privileged to work alongside an exceptional group of doctors.
In recognition of UVA Health physicians’ dedication to caring for others, we are proud to announce that we will be making donations to four charities that are close to our hearts and serve our communities, including Charlottesville-based Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, and the Culpeper Free Clinic, and Mother of Mercy Free Medical Clinic, Manassas.
