The Biomedical Engineering Department’s Annual Tug-of-War Competition was held Friday, September 22 in the Medical Research Building courtyard. Faculty, students, and post docs from 19 BME labs competed fiercely in this double-elimination bracket event. Congratulations to the first place team “Big Muscle Energy,” powered by the laboratories of Silvia Blemker, Chris Highley, and Mohammad Fallahi-Sichani who beat the second place team “Dialyzed and Confused” anchored by the Kibbe/Tsihlis lab in the championship tug!
Thank you to Tanya Cruz and Lexi Wallace, the Graduate Biomedical Engineering Society’s (GBMES) social chairs, and to GBMES President, Bryana Harris, for organizing this fun competition!
