UVA Health launched a new Ambulatory Care initiative to provide best-in-class experience for patients, providers, and clinic teams. One Team | United on Access is an extensive, multi-year project that will transform the outpatient access model. Thousands of providers and clinic teams will be involved in this work, and the collaboration will focus on a collective vision of an exceptional patient and provider experience.
The focused work of the One Team | United on Access initiative is occurring in a series of waves involving 7-10 specialties during each wave. As each wave rolls out, specialty-specific workgroups will tailor their workflows and processes to align with the new UVA Health-wide access and scheduling operating model. The specialties participating in the first wave are:

· Digestive Health (Digestive and Endoscopy)
· Pelvic Medicine and Urology-Gynecology
· Urology
· Cardiology
· Cardiac Surgery
· Vascular Surgery
