On February 23, 2024, UVA School of Medicine Faculty Guide Donna Broshek, PhD, led a session on preparing for retirement with specific information for clinical faculty in the School of Medicine. Director of Faculty Affairs Abbie Salcedo, PhD, MBA, and representatives from both UPG and UVA HR presented information and resources.
A critical step for SOM clinical faculty is talking with both Christine Rudge (UPG) and with UVA HR about the financial aspects of retirement.
