Question: Is there a safety corridor built into the compensation plan?

Answer: Yes. Clinical faculty will begin to be eligible for incentive payments after reaching 80% of the clinical wRVU production targets. This will help ensure rewards are built in for faculty to earn incentive compensation across all the missions. Base compensation during the transition period will not go down. After a transition period of up to 4 years, base salary will be assessed and adjusted consistent with the department-defined expectations.
