The 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. University of Virginia Health System Award is presented to a student, faculty, department, or staff member of the health system who embodies Dr. Martin Luther King’s values and teachings in cultural competence, healthcare disparities, or fostering an environment of inclusiveness, in accordance with the institution’s mission and values.
Submit nominations online for the award by Dec. 2. Recipients of the award will be honored at a ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 6:00 p.m. in the Rotunda Dome Room.
