The 2024 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. University of Virginia Health System Award is presented to a student, faculty, department, or staff member of the health system who embodies Dr. Martin Luther King’s values and teachings in cultural competence, healthcare disparities, or fostering an environment of inclusiveness, in accordance with the institution’s mission and values.
The deadline for nominations is December 4. To nominate, please submit online. The award will be presented on Thursday, Jan. 18, 6-7:30 p.m. (location to be determined).
