The UVA Staff Senate is partnering with the President’s Office to host the annual “Hoos Making an Impact” competition, which aims to cultivate staff success and foster process improvement that will positively impact staff across the University.
Last year the competition was focused on sustainability. This year, the competition will be open to all proposals with no specific focus other than helping to cultivate staff success and fostering process improvement.
Staff with the top ten submissions will present their idea to a screening panel from Staff Senate, and from the offices of the President, Provost, COO, and DEI. Up to three winning process improvement initiatives will be chosen for implementation. Winners receive $1,000 and a lunch in their honor with President Ryan, his leadership team, and the Staff Senate Co-Chairs.
