The Office of Research is accepting nominations for the John F. Anderson Memorial Lectureship. Established in 1955 by Dr. John Anderson, a graduate of the UVA School of Medicine, the Lecture aims to bring the latest developments in medical science and public health to our academic community. Dr. Anderson, a former director of the Hygienic Laboratory (predecessor of the NIH), was renowned for his research in serum and vaccine therapy, immunology and public health.
You are invited to nominate individuals for the Lectureship who embody the spirit of Dr. Anderson’s legacy and have made significant contributions to their respective fields.
