The UVA Health Leadership Institute (HLI) is ready to welcome a new cohort of emerging leaders: applications for third HLI cohort are open through August 23. Interested candidates should complete their application, essay, and submit a letter of recommendation via the HLI application portal. The institute is seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Early- or mid-career, minimum of five to 10 years of cumulative work experience in healthcare (at UVA Health and/or elsewhere).
- Demonstrate leadership experience or potential.
- Currently employed by any UVA Health entity and invested in their future at UVA Health.
Selected candidates will be notified in early September. Monthly cohort sessions begin Oct. 16. Additional details about the HLI curriculum, application process, and more are available in the updated FAQs on Connect.
