All five UVA Health organizations (UVA Medical Center, UVA School of Medicine, UPG, UVA Community Health, and UVA Community Health Medical Group) have fully endorsed proceeding with integration of this initiative. Over time, our patients will receive one bill, regardless of whether they reside in Charlottesville, Northern Virginia or anywhere else in the state, or whether they are cared for by a physician or in a hospital or clinic. Second, tremendous financial and operational benefits will be realized across all constituent groups comprising UVA Health, including our faculty and providers.
