This year’s Virginia Military and Student Veteran Education Summit will be held on September 22, 2022. The event will be a free one-day in-person conference at the College of William & Mary. More information about the agenda, vendors, and registration is coming shortly!

This year’s theme, “Take Charge: Be Your Own Boss In Your Next Mission,” seeks to open conversations about educational and career pathways for veteran and military-related students, including internship and entrepreneurship opportunities. There will be two tracks of breakout sessions, one for institutional representatives and one for students. To that end, the Planning Committee invites session proposals for workshops, panels, and presentations designed for either audience.

Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Veteran/Educational Resources
  • Apprenticeships/Internships
  • Transfer Procedures
  • Non-Profit Management
  • Employment
  • Student Veteran Associations
  • Veteran Leadership
  • Distance Learning

All sessions will be 50 minutes in length and should allow time for questions and discussion with the audience.

Submit your proposal here.

Additionally, if your organization would like to reserve a resource table for the day of the event, please use the link to reserve your spot. We have 50 tables available for your organization to connect with our student veterans and education institutions to offer more information and resources.

Reserve a Resource Table for your organization.

Sign up by Friday, August 5, 2022. Those selected will be notified no later than Monday, August 15, 2022.
