The Graduate Biosciences Society (GBS) is the student-led governing body for the biomedical sciences doctoral program. Their annual GBS Symposium features oral presentations from recipients of the departmental outstanding student awards, a poster session, and a keynote presentation featuring Jennifer Adair, PhD from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, University of Washington School of Medicine.

Keynote: “Developing access to blood cell gene therapies: the journey from teen mom to Associate Professor.”

Outstanding Student Talks: 12:30 p.m. – 3:05 p.m.
Guest Speaker: 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Award Ceremony: 4:35 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Poster Session and Reception: 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Location: Presentations will be held in McKim Hall, Leonard Sandridge Auditorium and the poster session in Room 1023.
