The UVA Medical Alumni Association hosted a reception for Northern Virginia alumni and current Pinn College students on January 11 at the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.
Among the attendees was Vivian Pinn, MD, Class of 1967, and namesake of Pinn College. This reception is held annually in January to welcome the new class of Pinn College medical students to the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus and the broader Northern Virginia community for their clinical clerkships. Students had an opportunity to mingle, engage in small group dialogue with Dr. Pinn, and build a supportive network of fellow students, faculty members, and local alumni.
