On the first Thursday of each month, the School of Medicine will host a seminar highlighting two recently hired assistant professors who will each give a 30-minute presentation about their research program. The purpose of the seminars is to introduce our talented new faculty to the broader research community and to seed new collaborations. All faculty, staff, trainees, and students are invited to attend.
Featured Speakers in March
- Allison May, MD, Assistant Professor, Department of Urology, presents “Exploring the Sarcomatoid Transformation in Renal Cell Carcinoma: Implications for Immunotherapy Response and Emerging Therapeutics.”
- Ariel Williams, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Public Health Sciences, presents “SGLT2 Inhibitors are Associated with Reduced Risk of CKD in Participants with Two APOL1 Risk Variants and T2D.”
