Irène P. Mathieu, MD, MPH, an assistant professor of pediatrics and assistant director of programs in the School of Medicine’s Center for Health Humanities and Ethics, was featured in Poetry Foundation’s Poetry off the Shelf podcast series. In the episode called “The Magic Section,” Dr. Mathieu discusses her career as a pediatrician and teaching medical students among other topics. She also reads her poem “Never Have I Ever” during the podcast.
