Dr. Brady emphasizes for travelers to assess their own health to determine if is appropriate for them to travel. Additional advice from Dr. Brady includes consideration of getting travel insurance to help protect themselves medically while abroad, packing over-the-counter analgesics and fever reducers, and keeping medications in a carry-on bag verus checking baggage with the airline.
