Proudest/greatest achievement outside of the professional realm?
Snorkeling the Hol Chan and Shark-Ray Alley in Ambergris Caye, Belize (first time swimming off of a boat in the ocean – I have a slight phobia of water).

What are you usually doing on the weekend or during time off?
Spending time with my husband, Myles, and dog, Sam.  Renovating our old farmhouse in Crozet. I also love cooking, traveling, jogging, and reading.

Best advice anyone ever gave you?
“Persistence will get you very far in life.”

What about you would surprise us?
I love college football and am a huge Virginia Tech Hokies fan – even though I am a Wahoo (I grew up in Blacksburg).  Also, I am a budding electrician, I rewired over the half the outlets and switches in our house.
