McIntire logoEntrepreneurship Micro-Courses

UVA McIntire School of Commerce is launching Entrepreneurship Essentials, a series of micro-courses focused on entrepreneurship, each worth half a credit. The net proceeds from these courses will directly support the University’s entrepreneurship co-curricular programs.

This fall, McIntire is introducing the first two courses in the series, with an additional two slated for launch J-term/Spring. These courses have been collaboratively designed and will be delivered by faculty members from across the University. Woven into the academic content, these courses will showcase the wide range of entrepreneurship-related activities, both curricular and co-curricular, available across Grounds.

McIntire School invites all schools within the University to participate in these micro-courses to gain representative points of view on this topic. McIntire envisions them as a valuable pan-university resource, centrally supported and hosted by the McIntire School.

Virginia Entrepreneurial Educators Symposium

McIntire School is hosting the Virginia Entrepreneurial Educators Symposium on May 3, where all entrepreneurship instructors are invited to learn from each other and from Saras Sarasvathy, an internationally renowned entrepreneurship professor at UVA Darden School of Business.

If you are interested in learning more about these initiatives, reach out to Ryan Wright, Senior Associate Dean, McIntire School of Commerce.
