U Ask, UVA Answers – Researcher Speaker Series | Central Downtown Library | 2:00 p.m.

U Ask, UVA Answers is a new monthly speaker series that brings exciting UVA research to the community. Hosted at the library, these talks are free, open to the public, and designed to spark curiosity.

  • Sept. 14 – J. Kim Penberthy
    Consciousness and Psychology at the End of Life
  • Oct. 12 – Lori McMahon
    Research on Dementia and Neurodegenerative Diseases
  • Nov. 9 – Madhur Behl
    AI and the Future of Self-Driving Cars

Advancing Discoveries and Driving Innovation | Colonnade Club | 5:00 p.m.

  • Nov. 5  – Researchers pitch their ideas, pitch their ideas, build connections, and find interdisciplinary collaborations across Grounds.
  • Faculty can sign up to attend and share work in open-mic style.

Open Forums | Wednesdays on Zoom | 12:00 p.m. 

Research support offices/departments across Grounds will provide important updates in specific areas that affect the research community.
