The UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center is hosting a symposium on June 27, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Pinn Hall Conference Center Auditorium honoring the life and accomplishments of researcher, professor and author Mark Kester, PhD — one of the nation’s top experts in nanotechnologies for targeted drug delivery.
Dr. Kester was director of UVA’s Institute for Nanoscale and Quantum Scientific and Technological Advanced Research (NanoSTAR) as well as a longtime Cancer Center member. He was also a professor in the School of Medicine Department of Pharmacology for 8 years, with secondary appointments in Biomedical Engineering and Ophthalmology.
