Access to journal articles has just improved: LibKey Nomad is now available on all HIT-imaged computers, providing one-click access to UVA Library-licensed journals.
The enhanced feature saves users an average of two minutes per journal article accessed, which based on current PubMed traffic amounts to over 800 work hours saved per year.
LibKey Nomad was installed by UVA Health IT in partnership with the Claude Moore Health Sciences Library. To take advantage of LibKey Nomad:
- Go to the Microsoft Edge browser on an HIT-imaged computer;
- Search PubMed for an article title, author, or topic;
- From the results, you will now see the LibKey Nomad Download PDF button (as well as a link to the journal issue.)
