The authors included 46 randomized trials evaluating the effect of MBIs compared to any type of control intervention on positive health outcomes in cancer patients or survivors. Statistically significant positive effects were observed for all health outcomes immediately post-treatment, including mindfulness skills, self-compassion, positive affect, coping, social support, well-being, personal growth, and spirituality. At follow-up, statistically significant positive\u00a0effects were still found for mindfulness skills, self-compassion, personal growth, and spirituality.\u00a0 The authors concluded that MBIs may play a key role in improving well-being among cancer patients and survivors.<\/p>\n<p>Badaghi N, Buskbjerg C, Kwakkenbos LB, et al.
