The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training on menopausal symptoms.\u00a0 This randomized trial included 66 postmenopausal women aged 47-62 in Iran. Participants were randomly assigned to either an 8-week MBSR program or a control group. \u00a0Quality of life was assessed in the two groups using the Menopause-Specific Quality of Life (MENQOL) questionnaire prior to, immediately and three months after the intervention. The results demonstrated significant improvements in overall MENQOL scores as well as physical, psychosocial, and sexual dimensions in the intervention group compared to the control group, immediately and 3 months after the intervention.\u00a0 The authors concluded that MBSR can improve menopausal women&#8217;s quality of life and can decrease postmenopausal symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>Yazdani Aliabadi M, Javadnoori M, Saki Malehi A, Aslani K.
