{"id":2098,"date":"2020-04-08T08:09:18","date_gmt":"2020-04-08T13:09:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.med.virginia.edu\/mindfulness\/?p=2098"},"modified":"2020-05-14T14:09:06","modified_gmt":"2020-05-14T19:09:06","slug":"new-daily-15-minute-online-mindful-pause","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.med.virginia.edu\/mindfulness\/2020\/04\/08\/new-daily-15-minute-online-mindful-pause\/","title":{"rendered":"New Daily 15 Minute Online Mindful Pause"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In response to the increased stress many of us are feeling as a result of COVID-19, the Mindfulness Center will host a virtual Mindful Pause for 15 minutes every day at 4 pm.\u00a0 These sessions will be offered live via Zoom and will be led by a Mindfulness Center instructor.\u00a0 Sometimes this will be a meditation, sometimes it will be gentle movement, always it will be a space to breathe.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is required (once for all sessions).\u00a0 Visit the Mindfulness Center website to register:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/mindfulness-center\/programs\/mindful-virtual-pause-online-class\/\">https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/mindfulness-center\/programs\/mindful-virtual-pause-online-class\/<\/a> l<\/p>\n<p>To join the sessions by computer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the meeting link sent after you register.<\/li>\n<li>If you have never used Zoom, you will be prompted to download a Zoom &#8220;plug in&#8221;. This takes just a few seconds.
