{"id":1517,"date":"2018-10-26T11:34:49","date_gmt":"2018-10-26T16:34:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.med.virginia.edu\/mindfulness\/?p=1517"},"modified":"2019-04-01T12:41:39","modified_gmt":"2019-04-01T17:41:39","slug":"research-update-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.med.virginia.edu\/mindfulness\/2018\/10\/26\/research-update-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Research Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>A common definition of mindfulness is \u201cintentional present moment nonjudgmental awareness\u201d.\u00a0 This study analyzed which facets of mindfulness best predicted depression and anxiety. \u00a0Two-hundred seventy-four community adults were assessed in the domains of depression, anxiety, rumination, worry, and mindfulness using the Five Factor Mindfulness Scale.
