Welcome to June and a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Division of Cardiology. The Division of Cardiology has a rich history of excellence in all areas, with world-class experts in every facet of cardiology. It is impressive to read about the many accomplishments and honors bestowed upon the Division, and many thanks to Dr. Chris Kramer and all the faculty and staff for their commitment to excellence.
This past month we highlighted several other Department of Medicine milestones, such as a fantastic Grand Rounds by our departing chief residents and the Department of Medicine Research Day. In addition, we had Grand Rounds delivered by a Nobel Prize winner and past faculty member, Dr. Barry Marshall. All of this highlights our dynamism and focus on moving forward in academic medicine.
