Over the last six months, 22 new faculty members have joined the Department of Medicine. They are listed below by division, with photos and links to their profiles, as available. Please help make them feel at home in our community.
In upcoming months, we will also be welcoming two new division chiefs in the Department of Medicine: James Scheiman, MD, from the University of Michigan, who will head the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology starting October 1; and Imre Noth, MD, from the University of Chicago, who will take over from Dr. Rose as chief of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Imre takes up his appointment in February 2018.
