Dr. Rohit Malhotra is an associate professor in the UVA Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, with a clinical focus in electrophysiology. He received his MD from University of Cincinnati, and completed his residency and a fellowship in Cardiology and advanced fellowship in electrophysiology at UVA.

Learning objectives:
1. To describe the medical risks associated with atrial fibrillation.
2. To select medical therapies to reduce the risk of stroke in atrial fibrillation.
3. To compare the non-pharmacologic approaches to stroke mitigation.
