Erin Arnold and Dan Chipman Join DOM Central Administration

Erin-ArnoldErin Arnold – DOM Education

Erin Arnold joined the DOM education staff in August 2016. Her responsibilities include coordination of the geriatric and palliative care fellowships in General Medicine, and several of the fellowship programs in Cardiovascular Medicine; she also provides support for the residency program and helps with promotion of DOM’s Women in Internal Medicine Network.

After completing undergraduate studies at UVA, Erin went to Indiana University in Bloomington to work on an M.A. in linguistics. She returned to Charlottesville last summer, and says she loves working with the DOM Education group — “especially when a creative or collaborative project comes across my desk.”

Dan2Dan Chipman – DOM Finance

Since joining the Department of Medicine in June 2016, Dan has been working hard to integrate himself with DOM’s financial team and learn the ropes of its complex financials.

A UVA alum who majored in engineering and applied science, Dan has over twenty years experience in financial administration and business management. After earning an MBA from the University of Illinois he worked for several private-sector companies, including UPS and Morgan Stanley, but over the last decade he’s been employed at various Virginia state agencies — most recently, at Central Virginia Community College.
