Rahul Mehta, MBBS is an assistant professor of medicine and hospitalist in the UVA Division of General, Geriatric, Palliative and Hospital Medicine.

CME learning objectives:
1. Recognize advances in perioperative cardiovascular, pulmonary and neurological care.
2. Understand how these advances impact perioperative care using distinct clinical scenarios
