Every year, the UVA Housestaff Council selects a total of 11 residents to receive a Young Scientist award. These awards recognize excellence in research, and include stipends of $250 to $500 to help offset research-related costs such as poster printing or travel to conferences.
This year, four residents from the internal medicine residency program were among the group selected for a Young Scientist Award. DOM winners were:
– Hampton Collins (rising PGY2)
– Mike Millard (rising PGY3)
– David Zhuo (rising PGY3)
– Anthony Peters (rising PGY2)
Congratulations to all!
