ID & Biodefense Research Day 2016 was held on April 18th at Jordan Hall Conference Center. Organized by the Division of Infectious Diseases & International Health and held each spring in conjunction with the Biodefense Training Program, the event provides an opportunity for graduate students and research and clinical fellows in the ID and Biodefense graduate programs to share their research through a poster session and oral presentations, and receive feedback from faculty and peers.
This year’s keynote address, by Denise Monack, PhD, associate professor of microbiology and immunology at Stanford University, was on “Mechanisms of Persistent Salmonella Infection and Transmission.”
