Helmy M. Siragy, MD, FACP, FAHA, is Professor of Medicine and Harrison Distinguished Chair of Excellence in Medical Education in the Division of Endocrinology & Metabolism at UVA. Dr. Siragy’s primary research interests are in the areas of the renin-angiotensin system, cardiac ischemia, diabetic nephropathy and (Pro)Renin receptor.

CME Learning Objectives:

  1. Discuss the current understanding of the pathophysiology of primary adrenal insufficiency.
  2. Discuss the best practice for diagnosis and treatment of primary adrenal insufficiency.
