Endocrinology division chief Zhenqi Liu announced in March that faculty member Susan Kirk, MD, had been elected to serve a four-year term (2016-2020) as a representative from the School of Medicine to the UVA Faculty Senate.
“The Faculty Senate plays a vital role in University governance and advises the President and Board of Visitors concerning educational policy and related matters. Our division is well represented, since Dr. Jennifer Kirby also serves on the Faculty Senate’s SOM committee. On behalf of the division, I’d like to express my gratitude to both Dr. Kirk and Dr. Kirby for their service.”
