Gregory C. Townsend, MD, is Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion at UVA School of Medicine, associate director of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Clinic, and associate professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Health, Department of Medicine

CME Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the current landscape with regards to diversity in academic medicine, nationally and at UVA.
  2. Understand the barriers to achieving diversity, and strategies to overcome them.
