Everyone will be gathering in Richmond on Thursday January 28, 2016 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 501 E. Broad Street, Richmond. We will meet there at 730 am and learn about the health issues that are before the General Assembly and will discuss how to meet with your legislators. Appointments will have been made ahead of time for you to meet with your legislators and discuss the issues that are impacting child health in Virginia that we have discussed in the morning session.\u00a0 You will be placed in teams, so no one will have to go alone.\u00a0 This is a fantastic way to learn state legislative advocacy hands-on!!! We will meet after our legislative visits for a debriefing lunch.<\/p>\n

Talk to your chiefs if you would like to attend so that they can help you work out scheduling issues. There is no charge for participating.
