{"id":2008,"date":"2015-09-16T09:26:29","date_gmt":"2015-09-16T13:26:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.med.virginia.edu\/kidsmatter\/?p=2008"},"modified":"2016-01-08T16:16:17","modified_gmt":"2016-01-08T20:16:17","slug":"fall-professional-development-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.med.virginia.edu\/kidsmatter\/fall-professional-development-series\/","title":{"rendered":"Fall Professional Development Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>From Anne Williams:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dear All \u2013 the office of Organizational Learning and Development is pleased to announce the schedule for 2015 Fall Professional Development Series.<\/p>\n<p>As noted previously, we are very excited to announce that the<strong> \u201cProfessional Development Programs\u201d have been approved by the School of Medicine CME Committee for <em>AMA PRA Category 1 Credit<sup>TM <\/sup><\/em>\u00a0(s).<\/strong>\u00a0 This means that all courses now provide CME credits for physicians and \u201chours of participation\u201d credits for other non-physician professionals!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> the registration process is now administered through the CME Tracker system rather than Oracle.\u00a0 To register, and for information on session dates and times <a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/cme\/professionaldevelopment\/\">here<\/a> OR you may register via the session links on the attached brochure.<\/p>\n<p>These professional development programs are tailored specifically to our employees and are held locally.\u00a0 There is no cost to attend and the sessions are open to all SOM faculty and staff.\u00a0 Other Health System employees are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n<p>We hope you will take advantage of these learning and growth opportunities.\u00a0 Please don\u2019t hesitate to contact me or Ashley Cobbler, 434.297.7439 or <a href=\"mailto:ashley.cobbler@virginia.edu\">ashley.cobbler@virginia.edu<\/a>, with any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From Anne Williams: Dear All \u2013 the office of Organizational Learning and Development is pleased to announce the schedule for 2015 Fall Professional Development Series.
