There are currently two open positions. Members must be full-time faculty (basic scientists and\/or clinicians) and be willing to commit approximately an hour each month to service, for a three year term. The LCME accreditation standards forbid the members of the promotions committee from having a substantive role in grading students, e.g., they cannot be course or clerkship directors or other primary role in grading. This is a vital role in the School of Medicine, and I ask that you consider serving the school in this way.
