Daniel Murrie, PhD, a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences, has received the 2025 American Academy of Forensic Psychology Distinguished Contribution to Forensic Psychology Award. His research portfolio stands out for its groundbreaking work on unreliability, bias, and adversarial allegiance in forensic evaluation, critically reshaping the ways courts and mental health professionals conceptualize objectivity and reliability.
