L-R: Dr. Meghan Mattos, Dr. Nicholas Brenton, Thomas Hartka, Dr. Andrew Schomer, and Dr. Sana Syed<\/p><\/div>\n

The inaugural class of THRIV – Translational Health Research Institute of Virginia<\/a> Scholars is entering its second year, and THRIV has announced a new class of Scholars. The new Scholars include the following faculty from the School of Medicine:
\n– Nicholas Brenton, MD, Assistant Professor Neurology
\n– Thomas Hartka, MD, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine
\n– Sana Syed, MD, MS, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics<\/p>\n

\n

And from the School of Nursing:
\n– Meghan Mattos, PhD, RN, Assistant Professor, Acute\/Specialty Care<\/p>\n

Additionally, NeuroNext Scholar Andrew Schomer, MD, Assistant Professor of Neurology, will join the group.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to the new class of Scholars, and we wish continued success for the Scholars in their second year with the program!<\/p>\n
