\u2022 Babies Born with Higher Birthweight or Premature More Likely to Become Obese Children, Study Finds<\/strong><\/p>\n

Infants born with a high birthweight or prematurely with either a high or low birthweight are more likely to become obese as children, a new study from the University of Virginia School of Medicine suggests. The researchers say pediatricians may want to counsel parents of such babies early on to prevent the onset of obesity and the health problems it eventually brings.<\/p>\n

The researchers have published their findings in Pediatric Obesity<\/em>.<\/p>\n
