Are you interested in sharing your expertise with the general public? Please join us for a session with a representative from The Conversation U.S. to learn how you can pitch stories and respond to their requests for experts to write on a wide variety of topics across disciplines. The Provost’s Office sponsors UVA’s membership in The Conversation, which enables UVA faculty work directly with editors from The Conversation to publish their articles. The Conversation makes the articles available as a free public service to 1,000+ unique digital republishers like The New York Times, The Washington Post, Scientific American, Associated Press, Yahoo! News, and more. Writing for The Conversation is an opportunity to educate the public about important research and add insight into current events.
Sessions with a representative from The Conversation will take place on Wednesday, March 11 at 10:45 a.m. in Shannon Library Room 321 and 2:00 p.m. in the Rotunda Multipurpose Room. Please register using the links below.
