The Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery will host its second annual Research Symposium on March 25 from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in McKim Hall, BIMS Education Center (Room 1023).
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s program focuses on head and neck cancer and brings together colleagues across disciplines to explore the scientific and clinical challenges facing patients and physicians.
The symposium will feature keynote speaker Clint T. Allen, MD, Senior Investigator in the Surgical Oncology Program at the Center for Cancer Research, National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health. His lecture, “Reversing Tissue Residency of Tumor-Specific T Cells to Enhance Systemic Anti-Tumor Immunity in Advanced Head and Neck Cancer,” will explore emerging immunologic strategies in advanced head and neck cancer.
Light breakfast will be provided, followed by an industry-supported educational lunch session. Faculty, trainees, and research collaborators are invited to attend.
